About the Role
We’re looking for a Corporate Recruiter & Talent Manager to own how Eightpoint finds, hires, and grows its people. Reporting directly to our Chief Financial and Operating Officer, you’ll run full-cycle recruiting across our teams in the U.S. and abroad including engineering, AI/ML, product, design, marketing, and corporate functions, and build the talent programs that help our team develop and stay.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You’ll be our talent function from end to end: sourcing and closing top candidates, partnering with hiring managers on what “great” looks like, and turning hiring and retention data into decisions. As a certified Great Place to Work®, we’ve built a culture where interns become senior leaders and people move between teams as their interests grow. You’ll be the one who keeps that true as we scale.
This position reports directly to the Chief Financial and Operating Officer and is based in our Fort Myers office.
What You’ll Do
Recruiting
- Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process, from intake and job posting through sourcing, interviews, and offers.
- Collaborate with leaders to identify, screen, interview, and hire, and hold a high bar for operational excellence in recruiting.
- Proactively source passive talent, especially for technical roles (software, mobile, AI/ML, data), through LinkedIn Recruiter, networks, referrals, and creative outreach.
- Drive recruitment marketing and employer branding, including job post optimization, campaigns, and career fairs.
- Build relationships with local universities and technical programs, and manage third-party agencies when needed.
- Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and cost-per-hire to keep improving the function.
- Manage our ATS and recruiting pipeline, making sure every candidate has a fast, transparent, high-quality experience.
Talent Management
- Guide new hires through onboarding, then coach them through their first year so they ramp up quickly and stay.
- Identify future talent needs and build bench strength for key roles.
- Support internal mobility and our promote-from-within culture.
- Use hiring and retention data to spot opportunities, and recommend improvements to how we attract and keep talent.
- Run learning and development programs, including Udemy, LinkedIn Learning, conferences, and summits.
Strategy & Operations
- Partner with the CEO & CFOO on headcount planning, hiring budgets, and workforce strategy.
- Build recruiting and talent dashboards: time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, offer acceptance, retention, and engagement.
- Help shape compensation benchmarking and offer strategy alongside Finance.
- Strengthen Eightpoint’s employer brand on LinkedIn and beyond.
- Keep hiring practices compliant with federal, state and local employment requirements.
Who You Are
The successful candidate will be an inspiring and confident leader with:
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in-house at a technology, software, or consumer app company.
- Proven track record hiring technical talent (software engineers, mobile developers, data/AI roles) as well as business and corporate roles.
- Experience owning talent management programs such as onboarding, performance management, or L&D, not only recruiting.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Comfortable with data: you track your funnel, report on metrics, and use numbers to make your case.
- Self-directed and resourceful; you thrive as a team of one in a fast-moving, lean organization
- Excellent communicator who builds trust with candidates, hiring managers, and executives alike.
- Advanced knowledge of technology including computers and software programs such as LinkedIn Talent Solutions, Office 365, Microsoft Excel and other programs specific to the job.
- Expert sourcer, highly skilled with LinkedIn Recruiter and modern sourcing tools.
- High integrity and discretion with confidential information.
Preferred Skills
- Experience building or scaling the talent function at a company with 50–200 employees.
- Hands-on experience with an ATS/HRIS (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, BambooHR, Rippling).
- Familiarity with compensation benchmarking tools and offer structuring.
- Experience with employer branding and recruitment marketing.
- Experience recruiting nationally, internationally and for remote/hybrid teams.
- LinkedIn Recruiter certification or similar sourcing credentials are a plus, but not required.
